SSP-DC Day at the AUA!

Join the SSP-DC planning committee at AUA Headquarters for an afternoon you won’t soon forget. We will start with a tour of the AUA’s museum, The William P. Didusch Center for Urologic History. According to the website, “The William P. Didusch Center for Urologic History maintains a large collection of urologic instruments, books and illustrations. Items in the collection span the full history of urology and touch on every aspect of the specialty.“ Tupper Stevens, the AUA’s Museum and Archives Manager, will lead the guided tour. Attendees will have time to shop at the museum’s world-famous gift shop, too, just in time to stock up on urological novelties for the holidays.

Then, AUA staff from across the organization will lead an interactive conversation about managing silos across an organization, from Publications to Guidelines to Conventions & Meetings to Communications/Marketing. 

Social hour to follow at the Guinness Brewery, 5001 Washington Boulevard, Halethorpe, MD 21227.

You do not need to be an SSP member to attend this event, and all are welcome from the DC-Baltimore area and beyond.

There is no registration fee for this event, but please sign up so that we can get a headcount for the venue.

I agree I will not attend the event if I have experienced any symptoms associated with COVID-19 within 14 days prior to the event; or if I believe that I may have been exposed to a confirmed or suspected case of COVID-19; or have been diagnosed with COVID-19 and are not yet cleared as non-contagious by the health care team responsible for my treatment. I agree to contact SSP at [email protected] if I experience symptoms of COVID-19 within 14 days after attending the event.
